JOIN OUR TEAM!

We are looking for volunteers to join our Board of Directors! Chicago Repertory Ballet is led by the incredible talents of Wade Schaaf, a queer classically trained choreographer who started the company over 10 years ago with a vision to create an inclusive space in ballet. Each year, the company performs around the greater Chicagoland area and beyond and is known for groundbreaking art that lifts up LGBTQIA2S+ stories.

CRB's Board Members have an array of talents and backgrounds that come together to help ensure that Wade's art can be shared. CRB is especially interested in persons of all/any gender expression or identity, LGBTQIA2S+, and BIPOC that have experience in graphic design, marketing, fundraising, outreach, or grant writing. Vast professional experience is not necessary to join this team.

The expectations of our board include attending monthly meetings which last around one hour and being a part of at least one committee which meets monthly during the time leading up to a related event. Some committees may have an additional 4-6 hours of work per month needed to support the administration and orchestration of CRB's great performances and events. There is also an annual donation expectation of between $350 and $500 which may be negotiated.
